Our Beliefs
At The Chapel Of Praise we believe in the power of God in sending Jesus Christ The Redeemer to die for sinners, restoring sinful man back to a relationship with Perfect God. Finding Jesus in His Word, empowered by His Holy Spirit, the regenerate believer is now capable of conquering life's many obstacles. "We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."

Our Worship
Our services begin by worshipping God, spending time basking in His presence to be refreshed from our busy lives. We then go verse by verse deep into His Word, attempting to let scripture speak for itself, equipping the believers in the manner of Ephesians 4:11-12, in order that we would bear spiritual fruit and multiply as He washes us by the water of His Word as we go and tell others!
Our Services
We meet Sundays at 10:30 to worship, fellowship, and learn the scriptures. We do communion and baptize in the Holy Spirit with the laying on of hands and anointing with oil for deliverance from demons and sickness. Water baptisms occur as desired.
Child care is available with a scriptural, age appropriate movie, short summary lesson, then snacks and game fun!
Wednesdays at 5:00 pm the men meet for Church-On-The-Beach-Outreach at C-street Promenade (north of the Ventura Pier.) The ladies gather at Church Wednesdays for 6:30 womens meeting.
Supporting Chapel Of Praise
We lead and disciple others to Christ offshore fishing and also support our friends in Ghana raising poultry and disciples. Our pastor works in farming and real estate related pursuits and we are passionate to see the lost saved and delivered from sickness and sin and the demonic realm.
